Edcon Steel stocks a range of bronze grades, including LG2, PB1 and AB2. LG2 Bronze (or Leaded Gun Metal) is a general-purpose engineering bronze that is ideal for applications that require good bearing properties and corrosion resistance. PB1 (or Phosphor Bronze) has high mechanical strength, as well as good conductivity and wear resistance. AB2 (or aluminium bronze) is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion, and cavitation and erosion in seawater and other chloride-containing environments.
Our product range of premium quality bronze includes round and hollow round bar. We can also custom-cut products to suit your requirements (charges apply).
